This is an "amigurumi" class. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures.
PREREQUISITE:
Beginners must take the Crash Course to join this class.
It will be taught on same day, 11/3, 12:15pm.

Student must know how to properly hold the hook with their right hand and strictly use the hook (not fingers) to pull yarn through loops.
Some independence is required as we will be following a crochet pattern, involving accurate stitch-counting. Therefore, student's efficiency in counting individual stitches (with guidance) is important for optimum project outcome.
AGES: Kids age 9+

PROJECT: ONE dimensional Pumpkin Amigurumi
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
In this session class, you will learn to follow a written crochet pattern and properly count stitches.
We will go over how to increase and decrease stitches to form a dimensional creature.
Lefties will be taught using their right hand. I'm a lefty who crochets with my right hand.
WHAT'S INCLUDED: 2 total hours of workshop time & instruction, & all projects' materials. Take-home crochet hook and yarn included in cost of class.
